Prof. Ales Drapal,
a specialist in groups,
selfdistributive systems, loops,
quasigroups, universal algebra and coding theory. Presently, his main
interests are distances of groups, leftdistributive systems, multiplication
groups of loops and trilinear alternating forms. In the past he was
also active in the area of artificial intelligence (production systems)
and applied computer science (operating systems, compilers, databases).

Dr.Vitezslav Kala specializes in number theory. He is interested in universal quadratic
forms, Weyl's law in Langlands program, and connections of integral
lattices to semirings. He holds a postdoctoral position.
